Description

My home is a warm and inviting 2 bedroom townhouse with private rear garden located only a few minutes stroll from amenities such as shops, restaurants, train station and an abundance of small cosy pubs.
My home is lovingly taken care of with 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the 2nd with a double. There are 3 bathrooms, 1 en suite with shower, 1 main with bath and shower and 1 downstairs. Surprisingly spacious, my house will accomodate 4 people comfortably. My living room has a tv/dvd with cable and a laptop is yours to use during your stay. There is also the usual kitchen and ultility room for any cooking or cleaning you're up for!

Neighborhood

Kilcock is a picturesque little town on the banks of the Royal Canal in North County Kildare. With very easy access to the N4 motorway, my home is just a short drive (40 mins) to Dublin city centre and if you take the N4 west you can be in vibrant Galway in under 2 hours. Belfast is also easily accessible in under 2 hours.

Kildare is the equestrian capital of the world and many horse racing festivals are held around famous tracks such as Punchestown and Fairyhouse, both are a short drive away. Find out more about the Irish Sport Horse heritage at the National Stud and Japanese Gardens.
For the Golfers, The K Club - the plush club setting for the Ryder Cup 2006 - is a mere 10 miles from my doorstep.
Donadea Forest and walking trails around the Royal Canal are popular but peaceful.

There really are too many sights and activities to mention, suffice to say I don't think you could ever run out of things to do! As you have the use of my car during your stay and as Ireland is so tiny you can do it all from a great base in Kildare!

About Us

My name is Niamh and I am from Dublin originally. I bought my house here in Kildare in 2005 from new and haven't looked back! I will be travelling with my Mum and sister - we are all looking for a new way to holiday and I'm hoping this works out!
I work in a well known insurance company and I commute to Dublin every day - so I know exactly where to recomend from eating out to going to the theatre to finding a cosy pub with a nice log fire!
I would like to swap with a home in Manhattan, on the Cote D'Azur, on the Costa Del Sol, Italy, Amsterdam and Thailand.

Destination

My dates are totally flexible, if I could fit in even 2 swaps next year from May onwards I would be delighted. I would like to swap with a home in Manhattan, on the Cote D'Azur, on the Costa Del Sol, Italy, Amsterdam and Thailand. Will consider anything though.
