Description

Our home is well equipped. Currently it is configured with three bedrooms, a study (with a computer and broadband internet) and a sewing/music room. The main bedroom has an ensuite. We also have a lounge/dining room, family room, kitchen, separate laundry and main bathroom. There are shaded out-door areas with an in-built barbecue. The garden is leafy and has an automated watering system. We also have a 4 litre Ford sedan which runs on LPG for economy, a stereo, satellite and free-to-air TVs with DVD players.

Normally we are open in respect to destinations, duration and timing but particularly enjoy Europe and North America. However, in 2008 we prefer the UK for family reasons, anything from 1-3 months, ideally around July/August.

Neighborhood

Western Australia is a vast State with a wide variety of scenery. We are privileged to live in the suburbs of Perth within 5 minutes walk of the Indian Ocean. There are beautiful beaches, coastal walks, surfing, fishing, boating, diving and the Rottnest Island ferry service is within walking distance. The area is well served with a nearby shopping centre including supermarket, wine shop, bakery, beauty salons, pharmacy, medical practitioner and public transport. The nearby parks are a focus for families.

About Us

I am a retired health professional and my wife is still employed (social services area). We have no pets but have cared for others in past exchanges. We enjoy walking, reading, travel, family, cafes, theatre and sporting activities.

Destination

Ideally we would like to be in the UK around July 2008. In subsequent years we have more flexibility.
