Three story chalet-style home with lots of windows and open living room and dining room. beautifully located in the mountains, walking distance to a lake with beach access, tennis courts, and canoes and kayaks. Many hiking trails in the area, with beautiful foliage in the fall. Close to many ski mountains! 30-40 minute drive to Burke Mt. and Bretton Woods, 1 hr. to Jay Peak and other mountains. Twenty minutes to St. Johnsbury and Littleton, two quaint New England Towns. 1 hr from capital of Vermont, Montpelier, and two hrs to hip, college town, Burlington, with many restaurants, shopping, and bars.

About Us

Family of five. Two daughters, age 21 and 18, and son, age 13. We love to travel as much as we can, but also love coming back to our home in Vermont. Oldest daughter speaks fluent German, and some Spanish, French, and Turkish. Middle daughter is learning Chinese. We always host exchange students as well.

Destination

Is a non-simultaneous exchange possible? We are planning to arrive in Istanbul this Dec. 26th (a little late notice) and are looking for a place until Jan 6th. Would prefer to be in the center of the city.
