Neighborhood

The closest beach to our villa is at Jimbaran Bay, a calm safe swimming beach, only 10 minutes away. For the more serious surfers, there is Dreamland Beach, Padang Padang, or Uluwatu. Finish a day at the beach with a visit to uluwatu Temple for a spectacular sunset and the famous Kecak dance performance. Indian Ocean.
There are a number of world class and casual restaurants to choose from in the area, including the Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton and the Intercontinental. The best food is to be found at the Jimbaran Seafood Market right on the beach where fresh BBQ seafood is available.
Great shopping to be had in the Kuta area, only a 20 minute drive away.
Two famous golf courses are within a 10 minute drive and airport only 15 minutes from the villa.
You are completed surrounded by spectacular sunsets, dramatic volcanoes and the beautiful Jimbaran Bay. An afternoon stroll along the village lane will take you to Bali's unique Performing Arts Complex and the magic keeps going.......

About Us

We are an Australian family who have been living in Indonesia for 15 years. After many years of living in Jakarta it was such a relief to move to Bali to live in our house which we lovingly built about three years ago. My husband is a Geologist and spends a lot of time away from home. I am a Librarian and obviously one of my greatest interests relates to books. We have a daughter who is currently at university in Australia. One of the main reasons we moved to Bali was to be close to the sea. We are keen surfers, love the outdoor life, are passionate about the environment but also take great pleasure in good food, wine and interesting company.
