Description

Large (280 sq meters) three-storey house, lots of open space. Converted carpentry workshop, wood/brick structure.

Large kitchen and living space, sleeps at least 8 people. broadband, TV, DVD/VCR, dishwasher and washing machine. Gas heating and cooking.

Some childproofing (banisters, plug protections, gate), high chair, changetables etc.

Fireplace, hammock, shared garden. Nice neighbours.

Still needs finishing on some of the walls. Nonetheless, it's a clean and pleasant place to live and raise kids.

Neighborhood

Northeast side of Paris. Colorful, ethnically diverse neighborhood, three metro stops from the finest Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants. Close to swimming pools, city parks, transport (metro, bus, velib bike-sharing system). You're welcome to use our bicycles as well, but bear in mind you're at the highest altitude in Paris. Peripherique (ring road) minutes away, easy drive to/from CDG airport. Local markets four times a week, supermarket 2mn away. And that French bread......
Makes you almost forget what you just stepped in.

About Us

We speak English and French, Australian/US/French nationality.

Also Deutsch, Espanol, Italiano.

Translator/teacher/furniture restorer. Especially : parents of three boys ages 1, 3, and 5.

Musical instruments in the home, you're welcome to treat them with love.


Destination

We'll be in Sydney from 6 Feb to 29th Feb, then in Long Beach, California till the 8th of March.

Ideally, we'd like to be somewhere twixt Sydney and Wollongong, or Manly. Near the beach would be grand, swimming pool even grander, we'd also consider Sydney inner West.

Early March, we're in Long Beach, in sunny California. Surprise us.

Alternately, we'll likely be out of town in August 2008, but the focus right now is an exchange in Feb/Mar.
