Description

This is a 2-story house under a mango tree. It is conveniently situated in the heart of Bangkok with access to the skytrain network that takes you to most of the key destinations while taxis are easy to find and very affordable.

The ground floor has a living room connected to a dining room with a small kitchen. There is also a small garden and outdoor space.
(part of the ground floor is our home office area)

As you walk up to the 2nd floor, you come to a small hallway. On your left is the master bedroom which we call the 'red' room with en suite bathroom. A small bedroom is adjacent to this 'red' room where it is ideal for a family with small children to share.

On the right hand side of the hall way is another bedroom that sleeps 2-3 people. It also has its own bathroom.

We have a live-in housekeeper who will take care of you while you visit. The whole house is wi-fi hi-speed internet ready with cable TV and fully air conditioned. If you're lucky, the mango will be in season for you to enjoy.

Bangkok is a fun, colourful and cultural destination. Great for sightseeing, shopping, food and simply just to experience a cultural feast.


Neighborhood

I grew up in this house... It is quite an old neighbourhood that still keeps most of its old-style houses while new apartment buildings are coming up in the same area.

The new roads and skytrain network has given our neighbourhood an easy access to downtown Bangkok (Silom & Sathon Area is 5 minutes away) which is the heart of Bangkok's business and shopping areas.

However, the neighbourhoond still manages to maintain a sense of calm, an oasis in the middle of town.

About Us

My husband and I are designers. We love to travel as it inspires us in our creations and our lives. New cultural experiences are what we look for.

We usually travel together with another friend or 2.

We speak English, Thai and Mandarin Chinese.

Destination

We are open to a non-simultaneous exchange. Dates are flexible.

Specifically, we are looking for accommodations in Basel, Switzerland from April 1st - 11th 2008 for 3-4 travellers.
