Located in the south of Hong Kong Island, our modern apartment sits in a family-friendly complex with swimming pool and children playground. Our flat offers beautiful vistas to the ocean. An easy walk will take you to the bus station. There are four more exclusive beaches within a 15 minutes drive. Located on the south side of Hong Kong Island, everything is within easy reach. In our neighborhood we have cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
Hong Kong winters are quite mild, high teens to low twenties centigrade usually with sunny weather, spring and summer are warm. Transportation is very convenient as bus stops are just a short 1 minute walk away and abundant taxis at your door step. Taxis here are the most affordable in the world with a trip to Stanley Markets will cost around US$5 - $6. For families Hong Kong offers a brand new Disneyland for kids as well as our very own Ocean Park theme park with live pandas, a spectacular aquarium, roller coasters and cable car ride. You can take a one hour ferry trip to visit the old Portuguese port of Macau. Sample some Macanese food and visit the old European buildings. China is easily accessible via our award winning airport or by express train at Kowloon station. There are multiple flights to all major cities like Shanghai (2 hours), Beijing (3 hours) and Xian. Taipei and Vietnam are only 1.5 hours flight away. Manila and Bangkok are 2.5 hours flight. Very cheap flight tickets to these destinations. Hiking trails abound for the nature minded or take a junk trip around the island to soak up the atmosphere. Wonderful trails at Sai Kung or Lantau island.
Hong Kong people love good food; you can get most of what you want in this city including Italian, French, American, Japanese, all types of regional Chinese food, Mexican, Greek, Indian, Arabic, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese, etc. There are literally thousands of restaurants in Hong Kong, budgets will suit everyone from backpackers to high-flyers. If you’re too tired to eat out or cook, we have a free food delivery service to door from some of the best restaurants in town.
Take a leisurely ferry trip to one of our outlying islands, trips usually take 20 minutes to one hour or less and costs a couple of US dollars. Most islands have wonderful beaches and fishermen selling their fresh wares into the alfresco restaurants by the seaside. No place has fresher seafood than Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is extremely safe for tourists and our complex has 24 hour security guards to ensure your comfortable stay. Whether you are after culture, relaxation, sports, good food or shopping, Hong Kong is an easy city to navigate.
About Us
We are teacher/nurse couple with one baby. We are non-smokers and our apartment is cleaned everyday. You will enjoy your stay. We speak English and French.
Destination
We are up for anything adventurous, relaxing or beautiful. We like the mountains, sea and also city. We always travel during school holidays so our apartment is available during Hong Kong student holidays and also during the week-ends.
