Description

Very nice apartment in Kallithea (Khalkidiki). The flat consists of a living room with a practical, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious main bedroom with a sitting space with library-office-PC (for relaxing), a small and colourful children room with a couchette (bunk) perfect for kids (with toys) but also for adults (big bunk),a bathroom. The balcony looks to a common garden. The interior is equipped with two A/C. In the living room there is a sofa (easily convertible to big comfortable double bed)and a dinning space. A wooden kid's-bed and a kid's portable bed available,if needed (baby cart, kangooroo bag unused,kid's amunition). All the mashines are new and almost unused (only for 1/12 months).The terracotta floor is clean and new. There is plenty of storage space. The interior is in general extrimely lighty and romantically decorated. Our home is very clean and very comfortable, allthough it is only 60-70m2. It has the ideal proportions and trates for an ideal vacation home that helps someone relaxing (instead of getting tired with the discomforness). It was our first home after marriage, where our child was born and spent her first two years.Therefor it has a great sentimental value.

Neighborhood

Kallithea is one of the most famous holiday destinations in Greece, which is situated at the center of peninsula of Kassandra (very cosmopolitic place at western part of Khalkidiki). It compines extraordinary beaches with the most famous nightlife and traditional greek taverns. Our apartment is situated in the center of the village, which makes it very comfortable for a family and for someone that doesn't have a car.Our neighbours are permanently living families (as we did four years ago). The beach is 10 minutes walking on foot(300-400 meters away from home) or 2 min. by car. Bus station, super market, bakery, and everything that someone needs is in a distance of 40 meters. There are also other famous resorts in the area 5 to 25 kilometres away (f.example Elani and Sani, Afytos). Every day you can go to another place for swimming, surfing, jet-skiing. The hole area is full of romantic beach bars, restaurants and two important festivals(theater and conserts) are taking place during the summer in Sani and Siviri. In the eastern part of Khalkidiki there is the State of Holy Mountain Athos (one of the most important monastic centers in the world, a gathering of many byzantine monasteries) and many excurtions are arranged especially tours by boat, where you can admire natural beauty and not only. Thessaloniki is an houre away by car(75kil easy road), there you can visit lots of museums and shops

About Us

We are a family of three people. Aristeidis (39,mechanical engeneer), Irini(32,HighSchool-teacher of Ancient and Modern Greek lag.) and Zoi(6y.,girl). We love the idea of living in a foreign country and exploring it as gests more than as tourists, we like to see another people's way of living and thinking. We love mountain and country-vacation (that is very stimulative for Zoi) and big European-city-touring as well. We are kind and responcible people. We are also cooperative and full of positivity.
