Condominium (apartment / flat) on ground floor in a building where many young professional people live. No stairs to climb! Very few children in the area. Parking available if needed (but everything is so near that a car is not really needed). New carpet, new paint, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, gas heat, air conditioning, shared laundry facilities on 2nd and 3rd floors (take elevator). The property is surrounded by trees.

Neighborhood

Walk to everywhere. Nice neighborhood, shopette & gas station 100 meters. Modern tram: 500 meters. Large shopping malls, library, 1 kilometer. Important cultural attractions (ballet, philharmonic, theater) 2 kilometers. Hills (1 km.) and mountains (5 km) surround the Salt Lake Valley, where the 2002 Winter Olympics were held. Living expenses lower than in Calif., Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, but quality of life is very high. Look on the Internet for Salt Lake City.

Rent a car and drive 1 hour to the beautiful mountain scenery of northern and northeastern Utah. Or drive 5 hours south to some of the most breath-taking vistas of canyon scenery in the world: Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, Capitol Reef Monument. 2 more hours south to Grand Canyon (north rim) in Arizona or to Las Vegas, Nevada.

About Us

Retired couple (66-65 years old). He was university professor of foreign lanugages, she is semi-retired real estate manager. We are Americans, but have lived in Europe, at various stages of our lives, for a total of 5 years. Both of us speak French well.

Destination

We are interested in the Brussels area (up to 30 km outside of Brussells).

More than a home exchange, we are really more interested in simply renting for 4 (or only 3) months, up to 6 or 7 months.

But we will consider an exchange.
