Description

The house is located in Camaiore, 7 Kms from
the Tuscany coasts of Versilia (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi). Camaiore is 80 Km from Florence (1 our trip by car or train), close to Pisa and Livorno and about 100 Km from Genova. Is a good starting point to visit Tuscany with a lot of possibilities of fun especially in summer, from the beaches of Versilia, the trekking paths in the Apuani Alps (famous for the Carrara marbles), biking, excursions to find typical foods and cultural events and small villages.

The house is in a rural setting at a walking distance from the Camaiore center (500 meters). It is an old pleasant house on three floors, completely restored two years ago but it has maintained the
original structure with original wooden joisted floor and "cotto" tiles. It has two bedrooms, two full equipped baths, one full equipped kitchen and a living room with TV set, radio-CD, etc. It is
possibile to accomodate up to 8 persons.

It is about 65 square meters. There is also a small patio for alfresco lunches and dinners (10 square meters) covered by fresh wistaria.

Neighborhood

Very calm and quiet countryside hystorical area. It is surrounded by cultivated fields and vegetable gardens. Only 15mn by walking from the center of Camaiore. A small shop with usuall fresh-food for breakfast is around the corner but a bike is available if you prefer to buy food from your favourite bakers and pastries in Camaiore. Free parking is available along the street.

About Us

My name is Alessandro, 48 years old. I am an university professor in Italy. I live in Florence with my wife, Gabriella (46), teacher, and two sons, Marco (18) and Alice (14).
