Description

situated in gumusluk, on the bodrum peninsula. a fishing village that is located on the ruins of the ancient city of myndos, 2000 year old ruins are abundant in this small village. the house comes together with access to a old byzantine church that is run by the owners as a cultural centre. has been used in the past as a venue for artist residencies, now the home for an international classical music festival. the house and church are located a mere 30 metres from the aegean sea. the perfect place for a quiet getaway. walks on the beach and mountains perfect in summer and winter.

Neighborhood

bodrum, on the south coast of turkey has long been the getaway for for the perfect holiday. it is a haven of all types of artists who come to be inspired by natural surroundings, beautiful sunsets and of course the aegean sea. gumusluk is protected by building laws that aim to protect the historical ruins of ancient myndos. for this reason it remains the only unspoilt area on the bodrum peninsula.

About Us

we are a family of three, a daughter, Pia - two and half years old, Eren, the mum, a pianist, and director of a music festival, and Mesut, founder and director of Eklisia - the cultural centre that has housed over the years theatre, music, installation arts, concerts, exhibitions...
