Description

Parklands is a suburb of Bloubergstrand which is 20 km from Cape Town CBD on the West coast of South Africa. My duplex is in a secure complex and with a small private garden. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with a living area and guest toilet. The 2 bedrooms and full bathroom is upstairs. The main bedroom has a view on Table Mountain. Each bedroom has a double bed which would be perfect for 2 couples travelling together. The area is quiet with shops close by. A long white beach with a spectacular view on Table Mountain is just 5 minutes drive where you would also find buzzing restaurants and bars. Easy access to roads to Cape Town.

Neighborhood

The neighbourhood exists of family houses as well as apartment complexes and is mostly occupied by young and middle aged families and professionals. Save parks for walks next to my flat as well as plenty other in the region. Shops nearby.

About Us

I am a professional in my middle 30's and have never had the opportunity to travel to other continents. As I am on a shoestring budget, I want to make most of my 1st trip which will be sometime in 2008. I work for a big media company. More specifically a womens religious magazine. My interests are reading, going to the beach, socialising with my friends at home around a barbeque fire.

Destination

I would love to stay in a beach region on the mediteranean seas. Simultaneous stay, although my dates are not fixed yet. Preferably in middle March, late April or any time in May, or September.
