Description

Our home is conveniently located to all the sites in the Denver area. Our community is called Stoney Brook and it is surrounded by a quiet green space. We are near many wonderful restaurants and accessible to the airport, lower downtown, shopping, sports and theater. We have a state park within several blocks to hike, boat, bike, fish and camp.
Our home has 4 bathrooms & sleeping for 5 people. We are in a quiet community with a pool & tennis courts. We have several decks & all the conveniences in a home.
We are open to exchanges this summer & fall of 2006.
We are particularly interested in Chicago, or any eastern city in the US. We also have the dream of visiting the countries of Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland in the near future.

Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is called Stoney Brook near the Denver Techincal Center so we see the city lights from our deck. Our comunity is known for lots of green space with many trees, shrubs & flowers. Throughout our community we have many streams & ponds. It is an island of peace within a city.

About Us

We are a couple that is retired from education. Now we spend a great deal of time studying about other cultures and are willing to travel at short notice to any part of the country & world. Last year we spent the winter in Mexico learning to speak Spanish and visiting many colonial cities. My husband also speaks German. We have been exchanging houses for the last 20 years also when it was not vogue to exchange and the contact was made by letter & telephone. How times have changed.
