Our 2-storey home is located in a small, quiet suburb in The City of Subiaco. The street is a cul-de-sac which has a park with a small lake 50 metres from our front door. The house has 3 bedrooms, study, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, casual family living, laundry and formal living and dining. The bedrooms are located upstairs and main bedroom has king size bed with large balcony, second bedroom has twin single beds, third bedroom has double bed. Main bathroom is upstairs and serves all bedrooms. The second small bathroom is located off the laundry downstairs. A secluded courtyard for outdoor eating is accessed via the family living area. Garden is small and easy care with auto reticulation. Ceiling fans in all rooms and reverse cycle airconditioning in family living and main bedroom. Perth weather is a Mediterranean climate and wonderful for outdoor activities all year round. Broadband available

Neighborhood

The house is located approximately 5km from the Perth CBD. Subiaco is well known for its village style shopping, cafés, theatres and boutique shops around Rokeby Road. Access to Perth is easy by road or rail (Subiaco station is 3 stops from Perth). A 10 min drive takes you to our nearest beach which is one of many along the metropolitan coast. The beautiful Swan River, Kings Park and Botanic Garden are 10 mins drive. Kings Park is over 400 hectares of unique Western Australian bushland located approximately 1.5km from Perth CBD overlooking the Swan River.

About Us

Our names are John and Wanda, both retired and in our 60's. John worked for a multi national Japanese trading company and undertook many overseas business trips. I was personal assistant for many years to a firm of successful Perth architects. We are experienced house exchangers and also regularly housesit in Australia. We are non smokers

Destination

From September 2009 to January 2010 we have a house exchange in the UK and would like to visit Ireland, Italy, Germany during that time. We can offer non-simultaneous house exchange in 2008 and up to September 2009.

Australia: we regularly housesit for friends in Noosa - a house exchange in Noosa could be another way of spending more time in Queensland with family and friends.
