Description

Our home is a single level 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with 2 large living areas, a large modern kitchen, a large fully enclosed outdoor entertainment area with fireplace (pictured), central heating, fully furnished and all the appliances. There is a garage and a carport. The house has a large yard and sits at the end of a lane so the only traffic is you and the neighbour. There is a gate in the back yard that backs onto the harbour/marina area. We own a 1997 Toyota Corolla station wagon which is available for use.

Neighborhood

Strandby is a small fishing village and beach town of about 4000 people. It provides small town atmosphere and charm whilst being only 4 miles from the provincial city of Frederikshavn. Walk to the local fish markets where there is fresh fish caught every day. Walk to the train station where you can catch trains all over Denmark and Europe. Ferries run several times each day to the major cities of Goteborg (Sweden) and Oslo (Norway) and can take as little as 90 minutes (Goteborg). The nearest major city and airport is Aalborg which is 40 minutes drive via the E45 freeway.

About Us

My name is Cameron and my wife's name is Majbrit (phoenetically Mybrit). We have 2 young children. We speak english fluently. I work here in my trade as an electrician/technician while Majbrit is a highly trained dog groomer. She loves animals and is an expert in caring for them. We are a non smoking, non drinking couple, who love to keep our home clean and ordered. We wish to spend some time in southern California between February and May (we are flexible) so as to receive some specialised training from a Christian ministry in the area. There is also a couple of conferences happening in the area during March and April that we are hoping to attend.
