Description

Very comfortable, easy to maintain high-set home built in 1994 with timber floors, air-conditioning in the master bedroom and ceiling fans throughout. We have front & back verandahs with excellent views of the countryside and mountains and where we spend much of our time as we can always count on lovely breezes even in the summer months.

Neighborhood

Our neighborhood has lots of young families and there are often kids playing in the streets after school. Lake Placid is a very quiet area and our 1/2 acre is at the top end of a cul de sac. Our house backs onto the Barron Gorge National Rainforest Reserve where we enjoy local fauna wandering onto our property like monitor lizards, Cassowaries, bush turkeys, and a wealth of birdlife including kookaburras, sulphur-crested cockatoos, lorikeets, sunbirds, exotic pigeons and many other species.

About Us

My family live in Florida and I would like to spend several months of the year there. I would like at least 2 months in Florida, preferably more, from about October 2008 to March 2009.

Destination

Dates are flexible but would like the winter months preferably. I prefer northern Florida but would consider anywhere in Florida.
