Description of our house
We offer a very nice countryhouse in Assebroek, Bruges with a garden filled with delicious fruittrees. In the house, we offer all facilities necessary to have a warm and happy stay: our living room is spacious and cosy with a fire place. we have a small kitchen (we love cooking, so all items are around), a clean and modern bathroom with double bath and shower, 3 bedrooms and all facilities for young children... so your children are also more than welcome to discover belgium! when the days are a bit chilly you will enjoy our veranda (wintergarden)with a nice vieuw of the garden. you can park your car in our garage.

Our neighborhood
Our spacious house is located in a green area of Bruges. There is a forest nearby which is ideal for jogging and walking. If you are keen on swimming, you are lucky as there is a swimming pool nearby. We are also surrounded by a local supermarket, a bakery etc... The centre of Bruges, with all his authentic buildings, sites and museums is only 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike from the house. Also the beach, where you can catch fresh air and eat delicious Belgian food, is very close... it only takes you 20 minutes by car! Do you prefer to visit the big cities of Belgium? No worries, the trainstation is only 10 minutes from our home. By train, you can easily visit Ghent in 25 minutes (a city with authentic character), Antwerp and Brussels can be reached in 50 minutes. Once you have visited the busy and interesting cities, you ll have the opportunity to come home in our quiet and comfortable house to chill and reflect upon the day.

About Us

Something about ourselves
My name is Katrien and I am a teacher at a university for social workers. My partner Stef is teaching at the same school. We both have 2 children, a girl aged 2,5 and a little boy of 1 years old. My partner and myself have a lot of travel experience through Asia and Europe but now that we have our lovely children, we prefer to stay put in 1 house and opt for house change. When we travel, we are fond of discovering the local habits of the place - we are not drawn to the touristic highlights. We already did 4 exchanges and had only but good experience. lease do not hesitate to contact us because of the 2 children Pwe have with us. they were teached to handle with respect, as well people as material stuff!

Destination

we are open for dates, but as we are teaching we have to change during school holidy, which is for this summer between 15th of july and 15th of August. we would be very happy to change for 2 weeks between this period.
