Description

Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac our 3 bedroom house (one room converted into a study) is ideal for a small family to explore London without staying in the hustle and bustle. We have hardwood floor downstairs and a good sized lounge which leads onto a conservatory looking out onto the smallish garden with a pergola and established plants and an area of lawn. We have a modern kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher. The main bathroom is upstairs and a small toilet and handbasin downstairs. Oh this is very hard to describe without sounding like an estate agent - please see the photos and email me for any more info.

Neighborhood

The area is part of the neighbourhood watch scheme and the neighbours are very friendly and helpful - even caring to look after my house while I was away on holiday. There are shops locally which provide all groceries, alcohol, chemist and restaurants. There are some lovely parks within walking distance and the walk to Bushey village takes 15 mins. Bushey has a beautiful Rose Garden. Watford is the next largest town which has a large shopping centre.

About Us

I am a secondary school teacher working in Barnet and my husband is a network manager based in the city. We have a 4 yr old son and have family living locally. We have been given a permanent visa to emmigrate to Australia but would like to visit on holiday for a few years before we sell up here.

Destination

We have now arranged an exchange for 2008 but would like to arrange one for 2009. We would like to stay in Melbourne or Adelaide.
