Apartment w/ 2 bedroom, 2 bath, suite. Gym, reading room, game room. Pools, sauna, balcony and windows under renovation until January 15th, 2008. Ten steps to the sand, pier, lighthouse and Intracoastal waterway. All conveniances of a big town in a five minutes drive or walk. Internet, scuba gear, bicycles included. Lovely furnished apartment in very quiet and respectful building.(24 hour security) Experince living by the beach in one of the best communities in the U.S. Fishing, diving, scuba, surfing, parasailing, kite surfing, boating tours.

Neighborhood

The building is located on A1A-Ocean Blvd. Across from the beach and 1 block from Intracoastal Waterway. Composed of mainly retirees, snowbirds and young professionals the comunity is friendly without the stress of a big city, with a diversity of cultures blended by the beach. In a three miles radious you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, shopping, dining, cultural events, 3 libraries,
pubs and historical landmarks. Walk to bus and parks. Pompano Beach is really a delightful community Close to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and Key West. The view of "Our Beach" as we call it is amazing with Lighthouse Point (beautiful lighthouse built early last century) to the North and Fisherman's Warf Pier to the South. The water is mostly calm and warm with lots of fish playing around as you swimm.

Studied Geography at Universide Estadual de Ponta Grossa,
Migrated to Chicago, USA where lived for 11 years until contracted to work for a multinational in Sao Paulo, Brazil as an Export Manager. After 3 years there he decided for a slower pace and returned to his hometown where he became an English teacher, purchased a mountain cabin where he spent his weekends barbecueing and riding his Jeep.
In 2003 he retuned to Chicago for business and while training to be an Interpreter met Lilia. They fell in love and decided to live by the beach. Speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. Loves aviation, sea, friends, spirituality, reading, camping, nature, his life and every form of life.

Lilia (44) - Born in Curitiba,Pr - Brazil
The daughter of Ukranian immigrantes she went with her family to the Chicago USA at age 12.
Studied linguistics at University of Illinois in Chicago and is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Polish, Russian and Italian.
Had two beautiful daugthers who are college students in Chicago. Met Jorge in 2003 and found the love of her life. Enjoys drawing, dancing, reading magazines and learning new things.

Destination

This is a simultaneos exchange we Curitiba or Ponta Grossa are our main places for the moment but any place in the states of Parana and Santa Catarina could be considered. Other places in Brazil and abroad are considered in a future date. The dates of exchange must be convinient for both parties.
