Description

Our house is located in a nice village (Ville d'Avray) in the west of PARIS. 6 kms from Paris (10 mn by car - 15 mn by train) - 2 kms from VERSAILLES

The ideal place to stay to visit Paris during the summer : you will enjoy both the proximity with this beautiful capital, the "green" environment, and the proximity with Versailles and its famous "château". There is a private swimming pool in our garden. A nice forest is all around the house and a private door in the garden opens directly in the forest.


The house (built in the 1930's) is a 200 m² house, with 3 levels. We started renovating it 1 year ago and the 2 main levels will completely be renovated next summer.

Neighborhood

Ville d'Avray is a small village in the west suburbs ofParis -> 6 kms from Paris, 2 kms from Versailles.

It's a very green environment (surrounded by a nice and large forest + the beautiful "Parc de St Cloud").

Paris is accessible easily by car (10 mns) or by train (15 mns to go to Gare St Lazare)

Versailles is accessible by car (3 mns) or by bus (2 bus stop near the house)

Everything for daily life is available in the village (supermarket, pharmacy...).

A beautiful horseback riding, with golf + tennis, is located in the forest, 5 mn by car from our house.
Lots of beautiful golfs are also located in the west of Paris

About Us

We are a 35 years old couple with 2 kids (6 and 3).
Karine is a marketing executive for an american company in the entertainment (The Universal Studios) and Gauthier is commercial executive for a french loudspeaker manufacturer.

We love renovating house and we are particularly meticulous. We will take car of your house and hope the same for our.

We are looking for a 3 weeks exchange during August 2008.
Ideally, we'd like to find a place with a swimming pool (for our children). We are open to all destinations.

Destination
