Description

6 Saddle Close is small but cosy. Although in a suburban area it is a good base to explore the rest of Britain. There are three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and one study has a single bed. All the beds are new.

There is one bathroom. the lounge is large with a dining area leading to a kitchen an small, enclosed garden. The house was built in the 1970's and is a terrace house. This means that it is joined together to five other small houses in a row. The neighbours are very helpful and friendly. I feel sure anyone would feel at home in my house and enjoy the experience of living amongst a real english community.

Neighborhood

The neighbourhood is a built up area on the edge of the countryside, with beautiful walks by the river. CLAPHAM is a village that has grown and now joins Bedford. It has it's own local shops, including a fish and chips, within walking distance of my home.

It is an area central for transport to London, Cambridge and oxford. Luton airport only 30 minutes away provides flights to Scotland or any other part of Britain.

You can explore Shakespeare country from Bedford.

About Us

My daughter married a Canadian and lives on the Campus of Victoria University on Vancauver Island. Joe and Emma have just had their second son and I would love to go and visit them for a while.

They would be prepared to come and meet you and I would like to talk to you on the phone.

I am 60 years old and retired and now able to have long holidays. I like to consider I am careful and considerate and would hope that others would treat my home as I would treat theirs.

I am looking for a base in Victoria, Vancauver Island, so I can visit my daughter and her family.

The length of time is flexible.
