Description

Our very comfortable home is overlooking the lake. Watch the pelicans and black swans whilst having breakfast on the deck. Stroll around the lack and feed the ducks and water hens.

The house has a great entertainment area, the kitchen has the equipment to cook up a feast, the ice machine cools the g @ t's and all the bedrooms are upstairs if someone wants to 'kick on' you will not be disturbed.
The house has a self contained studio apartment in the back yard with its own shower and bathroom, and deck also overlooking the lake. We find it a great place to go when you want your own space.

Unfortunately, we will need to lock our wine cellar before going on holidays, but will leave access to the cocktail cabinet.

The main bed room has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom and access to a private court yard. The other two bedrooms in the house are also large with double / queen size beds.

There is a study with internet and computer access and enough books to keep the most avid readers happy.

There are two living areas, and the main lounge / dining room also has a large LCD TV and Cable TV.



Neighborhood

The 14 km sandy surf beach is just down the road.
There are lots of wonderful restaurants and cafes.
25 km away is the City of Geelong and Melbourne is just over one hour drive on the freeway.

About Us

Geoff is an Ambulance Paramedic and Lyn is the managing director of a travel company.
We look forward to being able to share our home (s) with like minded others. We love travelling and look forward to the opportunity to travel to new and previously visited destinations. We think home exchanges allow us to travel and get to know your community and we hope that your will feel welcome visiting “down under”.

Destination

Whilst we are keen to go to Ireland and UK in 2008, we are open to other suggestions for other times of the years...please ask.

We are wanting to meet up with our Adult Children who are travelling in Europe during 2008. We plan to visit Ireland ( which we love!!!) and Scotland ( which will be a new experience for us ..but have always wanted to visit..) The children are taking a year off to travel the world – (a working holiday). Its something that is really encouraged for young Australians – go and see the world, and appreciate what you have a home.

By the middle of the year I think we will really miss them, and have planned to spend some time in Ireland / UK so we can make sure they are “eating properly etc!!”

We can arrange a non-simultaneous exchange.

We have another holiday home in Bicheno Tasmania ( see separate listing on this web site for details) and another holiday home near Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Queensland. ( also on this web site.) – so maybe you can travel the east caost of Australia !
