Description

We built our home 3 years ago and designed it with all the living areas facing into the large sunny garden which is home to many species of colourful parrakeets and butterflies. The family and dining area are fully tiled and lead into a lanai area for outdoor dining and BBQs. There is a separate lounge and sitting room. The house is single storied and well insulated with air conditioning to every room which makes for very comfortable living environment.
We have broadband internet, TV in lounge and bedroom, DVD and CD.

Neighborhood

Tamborine Mountain is a safe quiet area situated in the hills behind Surfers Paradise. It is about 500 m above sea level which makes it much cooler and less humid than Surfers Paradise in the summertime. It is a major tourist area with vineyards, restaurants, cafes, bushwalks,golf and bowls clubs and other attractions. We are within 5 minutes walk of a supermarket, butcher,chemist,winestore, Post Office and doctor. We are 45 mins from Brisbane.

About Us




Alan 64 was an industrial chemist and Trica 57 was a nurse. We moved from NZ to Australia 15 years ago and retired 2 years ago. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Our interests are gardening, walking, wildlife,travel and of course our grandchildren We have had previous experience in house exchanging with couples in England and Canada.












Destination

We are initially wanting to home exchange in the Palmerston North - Feilding area , New Zealand during January,February and March 2008. Interest from U.K and California and Hawaii for 2009. Australia anytime, any state.
