I've got a gorgeous 3br loft apartment in the hip Mission District of San Francisco. I wish to relocate to London temporarily beginning early 2008. Cheap laundry in the building, gorgeous roof deck with barbecue and great views. I'm a single writer ready for a change of scenery.

Queen bed upstairs with walk-in closet, TV, VCR, and DVD player. Both downstairs rooms small, but with double beds and wardrobes. Massive common space with TV, VCR, DVD, cable, internet wi-fi. Funky electric kitchen fully outfitted. Great for a couple or family, or a group of friends or students.

My loft is close to public transportation, great restaurants, tourist attractions, and easy access to freeways to Los Angeles and close to Napa!

Willing to negotiate length of swap. Looking for a house or flat in London or Brighton for me, preferably pet-friendly (I'd like to bring my little, well-behaved dog Shirley). Considering a permanent move to the UK and want some time to settle in and explore.

Neighborhood

The Mission is an eclectic mix of world-class restaurants and enticing boutiques, with a distinct Mexican air from our long-standing immigrant population here. Great produce stands and fishmongers in the area.

Very close to public transportation of all types: BART underground, MUNI trams, buses and cabs all within 2 blocks. Freeways are minutes away and easy to access.

About Us

I am a 37 year old freelance writer, author and San Francisco native. i have lived in my loft for 8 years, sometimes with a partner or a roommate, sometimes not. I am single and focused on my work at the moment, and considering a change of scenery to spark some new creative work. One of my major clients is in England, and I have spent most of the past 2 months there and would like to relocate temporarily to see if I am still feeling the vibe after a few months of living and working in the city.

I do have one small adorable dog who is a great traveller, non-barker, house trained and well-behaved.

Destination

My dates and length of swap are totally negotiable. The right match is more important than the dates.
