Description

My condominium is in San Diego and minutes from all freeways, the beach, shopping centers, stadium, downtown events, and 20 minutes to Mexico. The condo is 2 story and part of a 3 house unit. It is West facing and has views of the park and hillside. It has a 2 car garage, private entrance, without any foot traffic. Downstairs has a living room/dining area with access to the West facing flagstone patio. There is a 3/4 bathroom and linen closet. The kitchen has granite counters, all appliances and has a laundry room is off of it. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 1 is used as an office, one has a pull out trundle bed and the master bedroom has a full sized bed. All rooms face West and does not face any other buildings. the square footage of the condo is over 1400 sq feet.

Neighborhood

My condominium is in a planned community called Stonecrest Village in the city of San Diego. It sits on a quiet bluff above I-15 but is very private with limited access.The community has houses, townhouses and condos, is well maintained and quiet. This community has many ammenties such as 2 pools, tennis courts, fitness center, clubhouse, playground and monthly activities such as book club and cooking club.
There are walking trails and you can walk 2 blocks to a small shopping area with a Vons(Safeway),Walmart,cleaners, and Radio Shack. Public transportation is a block away, and it is 15 minutes from the airport. We are 5 minutes to all freeways, and am centerally located to about everything in San Diego. It is a safe area with no crime to speak of. The police department, fire department and FBI are blocks away. We are near a small airport and occasionally will hear planes.

About Us

I am a retired speech and language pathologist and have a small dog. I love to travel and my sister and I have travelled extensively in Europe. I love to learn about new areas and the ways of life in different areas. My interests are in North American Indian art, most especially the Coast Salish and Hopi artists. I am active in the community and volunteer usher at many cultural events in town. Also do a bit of volunteering in the schools and recently spent 4 days at Qualcomm Stadium volunteering with the firestorm victims that lost their homes. My hobby right now is Ebay, and I sell books and clothing on it for fun, and a bit of extra money. I am active in my community, volunteer at the Library and serve on the Homeowners Board.

Destination

I am interested in Seattle with flexible dates. Perfer North Seattle, anything with water or a view, but am open to anything that is larger than a bread box. I do take my well behaved, small dog with me, and possibly would bring my car depending on the length of the stay.
