Description

Who would have thought you could sit on your deck overlooking a gorgeous lake right in the middle of the serene cornfields of Iowa. Our beautiful 4000 square-foot new home is on a huge private lake 45 miles west of Des Moines. Our one acre lot has the lake on three sides and a timber in the rear. There are four bedrooms with queen beds and two pull-out couches in the family room and living room. It easily sleeps 12. There are two boats for you to use. One is a speedboat with all the gear for water skiing. The other is a fun pontoon that holds 13 people, perfect for gliding down the lake to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. You also have access to our 2003 red Mitsubishi convertible. It's so much fun riding around the winding lake roads with the top down. As much as we love to travel, we also love coming home to our own little resort here in the middle of Iowa.

Neighborhood

Our home is on a huge 1400 acre private lake. We have our own beach, our own docks, and our own boats. The shady winding 43 miles of paved roads around the lake are great for bicycle riding. We are three miles from the 56 mile Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail that meets up in Des Moines with bike trails in that area. Our lake has two golf courses. One is a par three and the other is the beautiful 18 hole Lake Panorama National golf course.

About Us

Dan and Muriel Lehman are the proud owners of this beautiful home. Dan is the vice president of a computer software company. Muriel is a retired school teacher and spends her retirement escorting tours for a company out of Nebraska. Besides the love of travel that they share, they spend their summers boating, fishing, and entertaining friends and family at their lake home.

Destination

We love to travel anywhere so we're open to exchanging homes anywhere in the U.S. or the world. We would consider any time of year and any length of stay. We know you will love our beautiful resort in the calm serenity of the Midwest.
