Conveniently located between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum for shopping, archeological exploration, dining, dancing, and every kind of recreational activity you can imagine including paint balling, horseback riding, cave diving...the list is endless!

When you arrive, park your car under a palapa and walk through the tropical garden to Casa Palapa. Casa Palapa has 3 bedrooms (upstairs on the first floor) with 2 beds in 2 of the bedrooms and a King bed in the Master Bedroom. The 2 bedrooms share a bath upstairs while the Master Bedroom has a private bath. There is also a full bath downstairs on the ground level. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has large sliding glass doors and balconies overlooking the sea. Downstairs is a full size kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry room. The entire downstairs has sliding glass doors which open to the sea providing extra light, ocean breezes, and the endless sounds of the surf. There are ceiling fans throughout the house in every room. Satellite TV, music CDs, book swap, table games, etc...are also provided for the occassional rainy day. Go swimming, take a shower outside, then take a swing in your hammock under the palapa by the sea and listen to the gentle waves lapping up onto the sandy white shore. Enjoy a tropical drink as the sun goes down on the beautiful Caribbean, then keep your eyes open for the sea turtles who swim ashore to lay their eggs along the sandy shores of Akumal

About Us
My wife and I own several vacation properties and decided that Casa Palapa would be the most appropriate property to exchange.
We are former business owners from Florida who now live between Florida and Mexico. We both hold college degrees, love animals, and enjoy water sports and the Caribbean lifestyle.
My wife speaks Spanish...I'm learning. We have 2 daughters--18 and 20--who live in the Family home in Florida. One attends St. Pete College and one teaches preschool. We love our daughters deeply, and regularly speak with them by phone or email. We also enjoy our new status as "Empty Nesters"! Time to house swap!!

We want Sedona. We come from the subtropical and would like to try the desert.
