There are those who believe life at Ocean's edge has a quality and calm untouched by any other setting, natural or unnatural. For those who yearn for their own place by the sea, away from the tangles of city life, Seaplace is a rare find indeed.
Just imagine sugar-white sandy beaches kissed by gentle waves and glorious sunsets. Warm waters and salt air refresh the spirit, and a swim in the sea, a fishing trip or a round of golf just might relax the body.
You're just steps from the Ocean and just 30 minutes to historic St. Augustine and Amelia Island, the latter reachable by ferry. Also, Orlando and Disney World is less than 2-1/2 hours away. Besides the more than 50 miles of white sand beaches, you'll find a variety of shopping areas along Hilghway A1A, which winds down from Amelia Island to the north and St. Augustine to the south. The attractions, restaurants, and boutiques that fill these coastal areas provide an enjoyable recess from the surf and sand.
And everywhere, the soothing sound of the waves regulate an easy pace for living. It's quite possible that our Condo-By-The-Ocean is everything you've always wanted... and then some.

Neighborhood

Our Condo is located in Atlantic Beach, the oldest and most private of a string of beach communities that are along the Atlantic Shore near Jacksonville, Florida. Atlantic Beach has traditionally been a comfortable community of summer homes, gentle tides, radiant sunrises, and desirable residential privacy. At high tide, the Ocean is less than 300 feet away... with no streets to cross, and the balmy sea breezes never stop
Bring nothing but your toothbrush. The Condo is fully furnished, with clean linens, towels, a fully-electric kitchen with appliances. And Atlantic Beach is ideal for day trips to some of the most exciting places in North Florida.
Atlantic Beach is a slow-paced beachside town with year-round activities and events for every age group. There is a quaint and safe downtown area with cobblestone streets within a 10 minute walk from Seaplace. It hosts many fine shops, restaurants with live music, and cafes. There is a community theatre just a 2 minute walk from the Condo, that provides year-round productions. A public tennis court and park with a playground abut the theatre.
For beach and Ocean lovers, enjoy early morning walks and glorious sunsets from the miles of gorgeous uncrowded beach that is just steps away from your Condo.
When you return from seeing all that North Florida has to offer, return home to our Condo where you experience resort-style living: Sailing, swimming, beachcombing, sunning and casting in the surf for flounder, trout, snapper and mullet. Among your neighbors are sandpipers, pelicans, and an occasional porpoise.

About Us

The owners are two retired seniors. The husband is a former owner of many food establishments, and restaurants in the NY area. His wife is a retired NYS employee in the Unemployment Division of NYS.
Their interest lie in seeing new areas of Florida. They have family in the Sarasota part of the west coast and also further down near Englewood.
