Description
Our flat is cosy and well furnished, with all you need to enjoy your holidays. It has a small terrace with lateral sesa views and is in the 4th and last floor of a building with elevator. It has ceiling ventilators and electrical radiators in all the rooms. There are 2 double rooms plus a sofa bed in the living room. It's perfect for 4 people, but can accomodate up until 6 people, provided 2 of them sleep in the sofabed. We can also lend you a folding bed for a toddler in case you have a very young kid.
Our appartment has a shared open air swimmingpool.
It's located at 200m. from the beach, that means a 5 minutes short walk. Apart from the big main beach, Torredembarra owns at 1km. from our home, one of the few protected natural beaches in the Spanish litoral, as birds use it for their bird migrations. Tere is also a marina and a fishing port and two golf clubs at less than 20 minutes by car.
From our apartment, you can easyly reach the railway station, which means you won't need our car to go and visit many interesting places such the city of BArcelona (50' ride from our home to Passeig de Gracia, the main street in Barcelona), the UNESCO's workd heritage roman city of Tarragona (just 10' by train), the theme park of Port Aventura (20' by train), etc. This is what makes our apartment a perfect place not only for people wanting to enjoy their beach days, but also for the ones that like visiting what those 2 big cities have to offer: concerts, museums, old buildings, street life, shopping, etc.
Neighborhood
Our apartment is very centrally located but still very close to the sea so you can have in a short walk everything you may need to enjoy your holidays: supermarket, shops, doctor, railway and bus station and, of course, the beach!!
The town is very quiet and safe and you can go walking everywhere, you can even have nices walks to the next village by the beach, as there are paths for you to go along the coast and along the cliffs.
The town is not a very touristic center, so it's basically a spot with secondary residences owned by families with kids from Barcelona and it's surrondings. That means no discos or night bars nearby the apartment.
In July and August, we only rent it, so it's not available for home exchange, only for holiday rent.
About Us
We are four: vicent, which teaches German in a languages school and likes very much reading, Imma, which works as a psychologist in the educational field and likes skiing and going to the beach, Marçal, a clever 9 years old boy, which likes very much reading and enroling in outdoors activities, and Arnau, the youngest, a 7 year old boy always ready to make fun and to draw.
WE are experienced swappers, we have swapped our home 17 times by the time I write this add, and we all love very much travelling, so as we work in the educational field, we try to enjoy our holidays traveling.
We are very fond of home swapping, as this gives you the comfort of a real home when arriving at night after a day out, and helps you feel more integrated to the place you are visiting.
We speak Italian, CAtalan,Spanish, French, English and Vicent speaks also German, so you may feel free to contact us in any of those languages.
We are very respectful with the homes we swap, as we know you are with ours, and until now we have only had very good experiences.
We do not have pets, but would take care of your cats (no dogs please) or any other small animals.
Destination
We can have a non simultaneous exchange, as the apartment we offer is a second home. We always look for exchanges for Christmas, Easter and August. We also may exchange our home with Spanish or French people for the 1st of may long weekend and at 1st november holidays.
In July and August we need it to do a non-simultaneous exchange, as we always rent our apartment, unless you may like to go to central Brittany, in France, were we also own a second home perfect to discover that beautiful region, with it's unespoiled nature and beautiful landscapes. It's reference number 7651.
We like going to big cities in Europe. Out of Europe, we are specially looking for NEw York or San Francisco in the USA and Beijing or Shanghai in China. WE would also love to visit Reunion or Mauritius. Rome VEnice and Amsterdam are also in our immediate plans. And apart from that, we are open to offers and have home exchanged with people living in places we weren't thinking of.
