Description

I am fortunate to live in an upscale community and in a home with an ocean view. Built in 1975, it has four bedrooms, an office and three baths, however only two bedrooms are furnished for sleeping (I am an artist and use two for my work). The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The house is situated on the high side of the street with steps leading to the front door. Multi-levels allow for an incredible view from the balcony and dining area. The rear yard has both a spa and barbeque and "lots of birds" at the feeders.

Our home is complete with linens. The kitchen is well equipped and ready to accommodate you.

Neighborhood

I have lived in my neighborhood for 32 years. It is considered to be one of the finest in Southern California. It is located on a quiet well landscaped street just one block from jogging/walking trails. It is a 10 minute walk to 200 foot cliffs that overlook the blue Pacific Ocean where trails meander along the edge through multi-million dollar homes. The immediate area has both young and retired families. Wonderful beaches and cycling trails are just minutes away. Grocery and other retail establishments are but ten minutes away.
Palos Verdes Estates is considered to be one of the finest in Southern California. I suggest interested parties look it up on Google). World class golfing can be enjoyed at Trump National Golf Course just ten minutes from the house, plus many other public courses. Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood are about one hour drive, depending on the traffic. I am seeking a couple who would enjoy my home and who has a like residence to exchange. I prefer the months of mid-May through to the end of July. We are open to travel adventures in Italy, France, Croatia, Yugoslavia, and Poland.

About Us

I am a retired 67 year old Los Angeles County Fire Captain -reinvented as an artist. I have a studio in my home and another a short distance away. My lady and I enjoy traveling, good food, wine, cycling, walking and of course art museums. She is an art professor at the prestigious Otis College of Fashion Design and a fine artist. Neither of us smoke. Unfortunately, we are limited to only one language...English. We are both fastidious about our home and would appreciate an exchange with folks who take care of their home.

Destination

We are both artists, so weather and the surroundings are important to us. Hot weather is definitely not one of our favorites.
