Description

This spacious, airy apartment covers 98 square meters and is situated in the Moabit section of Berlin-Mitte, not far from the main train station. If you have a car, safe parking is available on the street just outside the apartment.

The sunny flat has high ceilings, three large rooms, a large kitchen, a bathroom, and a nice balcony. It is situated on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator, so this might make it difficult for disabled people. Well-connected with public transportation, I will also leave you access to my bike in case you want to get around town like a local.

The flat comes equipped with cable Internet access and all standard furnishings and appliances (photos available upon request.)

One final note: I have a very friendly (neutered) male cat that I will ask you to look after during the home exchange.

Neighborhood

While the neighborhood is quiet and residential, it is also very central, making it a great base from which to explore the dynamic German capital. Berlin's largest park, the Tiergarten, is close by, and you can readily access all the city's major sites and neighborhoods via a comprehensive public transportation system. Within walking distance, you will find shops, restaurants, and pleasant riverside cafes. The city is also very close to Berlin's brand new main train station.

About Us

I'm an American who has been living abroad for nearly seven years. I make my living as a freelance writer and editor. I love Berlin, and am keen on giving you tips and advice on places to go that will enhance your visit to this thriving metropolis.

Destination

I am looking to spend the Christmas holidays in Italy -- around two weeks. I prefer Rome, but am open to other destinations as well. I am quite flexible on dates, so get in touch and we'll see if we can work something out.

I am also interested in doing long weekend exchanges in Hamburg, Prague, Dublin, and other European cities.
