Beautiful 4-bedroom cottage, waterfront, sleeps 6 adults, on private 2-acre island. One-minute boat ride from shore, 18-foot pontoon boat and canoe included. Property includes driveway on mainland for parking. Year-round cottage, with full telephone and hydro service, and jacuzzi tub, large deck overlooking lake. Dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, propane barbeque, television, washer and dryer. Lake views from every room. Island breeze means fewer mosquitoes in summer, great fishing. Enjoy sitting out on 12 X 16 floating dock, or roasting marshmallows around outdoor fire pit. Kids will enjoy water-tight treehouse and sandbox with toys. In winter enjoy cross-country skiing and skating, or curling up in front of wood-burning stove!

Neighborhood

Incredibly beautiful private setting, gorgeous lake views, serene and quiet but less than two-hour drive from one of Canada's most vibrant cities, Toronto. Short drive to groceries, shopping, restaurants, antique stores, golfing, Ojibwa Art Gallery, and more.

About Us

We are a family of 5, children ages 11, 9 and 7, an information technology manager (computers) and an editor of legal publications. We speak mainly English, but the kids are attending French immersion schools and we all hope to improve our fluency in French!
