Description

Our home is on three levels. The top floor is one bedroom with queen size bed. The main floor has living room, kitchen, bathroom, den with single bed and bedroom with toddler bed suitable for under 4years of age. There is a deck with views of the city. The lower level is a self contained suite, with kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with king sized bed. This level has french doors to the garden with pond and patio.

Neighborhood

Our home has outstanding views of the city and there is a toddler playground across the street. The city of Kamloops is centrally located in the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. This gives easy access to the Rocky Mountains, the north, the coast and islands, as well as Vancouver. Our summers here are very warm and dry, winters are moderately cold. There are many lakes and rivers for your recreation. There is a major ski hill nearby for winter and summer activities, such as hiking and mountain biking.

About Us

We are a retired couple, formerly self employed in the retail sector. Our house is suitable for one or two couples and a single, however we have a bedroom set up for our toddler granddaughter, so our home could accommodate one small child. We have some understanding of French.

Destination

Since the lower level of our home is a self contained suite we would be open to a non-simultaneous exchange with another couple. We have already booked our airline reservations, so our dates are not flexible. We would prefer an exchange in the Languedoc.
