Description

Two bedroom family apartment in a quiet residential area close the beaches and the centre of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. The apartment is in an historic building which is the former home of the 'Spencer' family and was converted into flats in the 1960's. It is on the raised ground floor and has been newly refurbished including a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, living/dining room, one double bedroom and one large single. Parking space outside.

Neighborhood

Ryde is located on the Isle of Wight which you can access via catamaran or hovercraft from Portsmouth (15 mins) or car ferry 40 mins. The apartment is a short walk to the seafront and into Ryde town (5 mins). The town is a busy holiday resort in the summer months and there is plenty to do on the Island generally.
A walk along the esplanade takes you past vast sandy beaches, boating lake, swimming pool and parks with childrens play areas. I could go on and on as but generally it is a great place for a family break.

About Us

I am a single mother with a young daughter. We relocated to the Island to have a better quality of life and so far have no regrets. It is a great place to be bringing up a child. I previously lived in London and have been lucky enough to keep my job but work from home via e-mail. I work in fashion as a Pattern Maker for a major quality retailer.

Destination

I have freinds and family in London and am keen to have a homely base for a weekend break or longer. I can be very flexible with dates.
Otherwise any european destination would be considered
