Description

Our flat is a 95 square meters bright apartment in a early ’60 building, placed in the heart of the modern city. It is 3 minutes walk to the beach and same distance from downtown as well. It is located at 1st floor (no elevator) with a lovely terracotta tiles balcony, perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. It has a bright entrance, a large brand new kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, grill, oven, toaster and rings with security gas system. The living room has just been painted, and furnished with a double davenport (sofa), a chest of drawers and valuable paintings at the walls. It has a wide tv color with dvd player and air conditioning. We just restored the bathroom and the external face of the building. The home has 2 bedrooms and 6 comfortable sleeps (up to 8 with the davenport in the living room). The main bedroom has a double bed and a single bed + air conditioning. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a single bed + air conditioning. It is ideal to have some rest, swimming in the beautiful sea of the area, taking long walks , taste the local cooking, and visit the most famous archaeological and artistic sites of Lazio. Our place in Terracina is perfectly located as touring base to visit the real Italy.

Neighborhood

Slightly more than 100 Kilometres from Rome and 120 Km from Naples, Terracina lies on about fifteen Km of coastline, along the wide gulf marked off by the Circeo and Gaeta promontories. By taking a short walk in the old town you will discover characteristic shops and establishments, including small wineries, with history everywhere around you. Piazza del Municipio also offers a view of the two symbols of Terracina, the incredible sea and the Temple of Jupiter Anxur. On especially clear days you can see the jewels of Campania, the islands of Ischia and Capri. Pompeii and the Vesuvio volcano are pretty close too (150km).Terracina is full of fine restaurants and is really good for shopping. Very distinctive are the colourful fishermen's port-canal and two basins for pleasure-craft, and the arm of the port where the ships depart for Ponza (in the summer) and for Ventotene. Those who enjoy the countryside as well as the sea need only venture a few miles into the interior to reach many interesting places. Terracina is definitely a must for everyone who loves Italy and it’s beauties.

About Us

We are Marisa (56) affirmed archaeologist and her daughter Maria (23), law student. This is our newly restored holiday home in Terracina. We have a business on it and as it seems to be a very popular location abroad, we decided to start to exchange it in order to experience a new kind of holiday. We have a sense of adventure, seeking to blend into local cultures wherever we go. In 2006 we lived 4 exchanges in Staten Island, Brooklyn , Manhattan (Usa) and Stockholm (Sweden). In 2007 We’ve been to Toronto and Montréal (Canada) and will go soon to Copenhagen ( Denmark). We have many references and can guarantee much love and care for your property.
The city is not a typical Mediterranean tourist machine, you will love it.

Dates are flexible, but we won't be able to let you stay in the apartment from June to September as we rent it.
Non simultaneus exchange are our favourite cause we get the chance to know the exchangers!
