La maison dans laquelle se situe notre appartement aura 100 ans en 2008 mais elle a été complètement rénovée en 2006. Le charme d'une vieille maison allié avec le confort d'une maison moderne! Notre appartement a 3 chambres (2 chambres à lit double et une chambre avec un lit de bébé et un canapé-lit), une salle de séjour avec cheminée, une salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, une toilette et une cuisine entièrement équipée. Nous disposons en plus de 2 petits jardins, d'une terrasse en partie couverte avec barbecue et de 2 caves. Nous avons une connexion Internet haut débit Wifi. Notre voiture (Opel Meriva) serait également à disposition.

The house where our flat is located will be 100 years old in 2008 but has been totally renovated in 2006. The charm of an old house allied with the comfort of a modern one! Our flat has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen size bed and one with a baby bed and a bed-sofa), a living room with a chimney, a bathroom with shower and bath tub, a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. We also have 2 small gardens, a partly covered terrace with barbecue and 2 cellars. We have a Wifi Internet connection and our car (Opel Meriva) could be used as well.

Neighborhood

Le quartier dans lequel nous vivons se situe en dehors du village de Cagiallo près de la chapelle de San Matteo. Depuis la salle de séjour on voit la forêt de châtaigniers en face d'un petit vallon. Depuis le jardin on peut apercevoir le Lac de Lugano. En 10 minutes à pied, on se trouve à Tesserete où se trouvent toutes les commodités ainsi que le bus pour aller à Lugano (15 minutes en voiture). De plus, Cagiallo est à 1h15 (90Km) de Milano.

The area where we live is located outside of the village of Cagiallo, near the San Matteo Church. From the living room, you can see the forest of chestnut trees on the opposite side of the small valley and from the garden, you can see the wonderful Lake of Lugano. After a 10 minutes walk, you can reach Tesserete where you can find all commodities and also the bus going to the city of Lugano (15 minutes by car). Finally, Cagiallo is situated 90Km (1h15) away from Milano.

Michaela a 27 ans et travaille comme business consultant dans une entreprise de services bancaires. Je m'appelle Nicolas et je travaille comme employé back-office dans cette même entreprise. Depuis août 2007, Norah est née et nous apporte notre lot quotidien de bonheur. Nous sommes tous les deux férus de voyages et de géographie. Michaela aime la science en général et j'aime beaucoup l'histoire et la politique. Nous parlons Français, Allemand, Anglais et Italien. Et même si le virus du voyage nous a bien attrapé, nous sommes toujours contents de revenir en Suisse, pays que nous aimons profondément...

In august 2007, Norah was born and brings us our daily batch of happiness. We both like travelling and geography. Michaela likes science in general and I like politics and history.
