Description

three story house about 2 hours northwest of seattle. three bedrooms on top floor, large daylight basement with yard access on bottom floor with beds and bunks for many children. ground floor has open floor plan living room, kitchen, and dining room. bathrooms on every floor, two with tubs. kitchen fully equipped for cooking with dishwasher.
views across wetlands to puget sound and mountains. 3 miles from ferry to port townsend and olympic mountain range.

Neighborhood

located in coupeville washington which is the midpoint community on whidbey island. gorgeous views and open farmlands. quiet roads excellent for biking and running. many hikes possible nearby. small quaint town with shops and restaurants 6 miles away. many state parks to explore.

About Us

family of 5 with one child off in college now. other kids ages 17 and 15 at home. we have travelled extensively in europe and always prefer to rent an apartment or villa when doing so. love to cook and explore local neighborhoods for markets. speak french passably and both kids study it in school. enjoy running, reading, and history.

Destination

we are flexible about our whidbey island openings. any dates would probably work as it is our second home.

we plan to travel for our children's april break from school so our dates are fairly rigid. they are on break april 5-16th. we are also interested in some july travel as well. we would prefer paris, rome or barcelona as our cities.
