Description

Our house is located in the historic neighbourhood of Sandy Hill in the center of Ottawa.

The house features 2 bedrooms, home office, spacious living room and dining room, 2 bathrooms with shower/bath and a family room. There's a large deck at the back of the house, complete with gas BBQ and patio furniture.

Centrally heated and air conditioned. High speed internet access included as well as cleaning service on a bi-weekly basis.

A car is not included as part of this home exchange.

Neighborhood

Our house is situated in historic Sandy-Hill, one of Ottawa's embassy neighbourhoods. Altough centrally located, the area is amazingly quiet and suitable for families. The house is on the East end of Sandy-Hill, one street away from the Rideau River and a park. The world famous cordon bleu cooking school is just around the corner, there you'll be able to enjoy the best cuisine the region has to offer. The University of Ottawa is on the West side of the neighberhood.

Minutes walk from the Market area, featuring restaurants, museums and outdoor markets. The Parliament buildings and Ottawa's famous Rideau Canal are also situated within walking distance.

About Us

We are professionals working in government and the high-tech industry. We do not have kids, but we have a cat that could be part of the exchange or not. Fluent in French and English.
