Description

Our cosy and spacious home will offer you the perfect rest after intense days hiking, climbing, picking mushrooms, cycling, sight-seeing, swimming, sunbathing, eating and drinking, enjoying our fiestas or chatting with the welcoming local people.
An hour drive will lead you to Bilbao and its worldwide known Guggenheim, the vineyards in Rioja, the beaches of San Sebastian and Mundaka.
Discover the non-so-well known but astonishing spots around.

Neighborhood

Our village is surrounded by rocky mountains and birch and oak forests which offer stunning views and relaxing walks. We live in a small yet active community: people gather to sing, act, play instruments, plant trees, clean the streets…
Our house is a five minute walk from the pedestrian centre where we usually have a few drinks and pintxos (tapas) or sit in the plaza chatting and watching children while they play. The swimming pool is an important meeting point during the summer as well.
Our next door neighbours are always there when you need garlic or salt and it’s a real pleasure to have lunch or dinner with them just to celebrate “Saint Anyexcuseisgood”.

About Us

"The animals went in two by two..." Two teachers, two sons, two dogs...
We are back from our first home swap experience which has encouraged us to have more and more!
We can communicate in Basque, Spanish, English and French.

Destination

We'd love to visit Euro Disney in summer 09. We'd also like to practice our English.
We'll be on our sabatic year in 2010-11 and would prefer the United Kingdom or Ireland for our long term home swap.
We enjoy both big cities and smaller non-touristy areas so we are really open to any suggestion.
