Our small, cozy 1 bedroom apartment has a year-old 52 inch widescreen television with cable, washer and dryer, microwave, George Foreman grill, exotic saltwater aquarium, new appliances, newly renovated bathroom, queen-sized bed, sleeper sofa, open porch, spacious kitchen and closet. Located in a large house on the side of a hill in family neighborhood. Great for a single or couple. His relatives live in the house next-door.

Neighborhood

Located on the public bus route 2 blocks from downtown Winooski. St. Michael's college is 1 mile down the street. Nightlife, shopping, the Woolen Mill, Champlain Mill, Winooski Riverfront and diverse dining options are a brief walk away. Minutes away from the gorgeous and lively downtown Burlington, including the University of Vermont, Champlain College, the pedestrian Church Street Marketplace, the Flynn Theater, the Burlington waterfront on Lake Champlain with views of the Adirondack Mountains, and a variety of tourist and outdoor attractions and activities. Lake George with its factory outlet shopping and the Great Escape is 2 hours away. Stowe downhill ski and tourist area is one hour away, Bolton Valley ski resort is a 30 minute drive, and the city of Montreal, Quebec is 1.5 hours north. Enjoy the convenience of a cultured small town, yet stay nestled in the colorful Green Mountains and Lake Champlain region. This town truly has it all!

About Us

We are two active and flexible twenty-somethings interested in short-term home exchange. 23 year old female caregiver and 27 year old male truck driver. Our 'baby' is a 2 year old, people and dog-loving German Rottie purebred who would stay with us, be cared for by you (if interested), OR stay with a friend. We are mature and responsible, looking for a home in an environment that is different from our own, yet similarly stimulating! We have a broad range of interests, including water sports and activities, warm beaches, camping, the outdoors, nightlife, technology, shopping and travel. I speak and read/write some French.

Destination

We are looking for a stimulating environment! Would like someplace warm, with pool/lake/ocean nearby, but this is not necessary. Interested parties will be responsible, honest, and just as willing as we are to have new places to explore and activities to enjoy! We are looking for short-term exchange--anywhere between 3-10 days. Dates flexible.
