Description

Charming and unique architectural gem, the Snowflake House (designed like a Snowflake of six sided structures) is located in Pine Mountain Club, California, a little over one hour north and west of Los Angeles in the Los Padres National Forest, and West of Frazier Park at the top of the grapevine. We call the interior decor "Hearst Castle on a budget". This place is truly for lovers!! 3 small decks, three skylights at the top of each pyramid. We are working on getting the hot tub up for the winter. It does snow in the winter (yes, go out the back door to cross country ski). Huge HD TV and 250 films (but no TV hookup, sorry). Small galley kitchen and combo living /dining room.

Neighborhood

Take your morning cappucino out back to the Enchanted Forest, the wild roses table or the lower Oak Grove. The town is walking distance and there is a general store, 3 gourmet restaurants, a golf course, riding stable, and tennis courts. Lots of hiking trails. If you get tired of peace and quiet, go to Mad Baileys bar in town for some live music, or just a short hop to L.A.

About Us

My boyfriend and me are both Cinematographers/ Digital Engineers and we work in the film industry..we bide our time between Snowflake and my house in Agua Dulce near Vasquez Rocks. We have 4 English Shepherds , but we do not necessarily need to bring one or all of them with us on an exchange.
