Description

Rye Ocean Dunes is a secluded two storey home located on one acre of coastal tea-tree. Our house is conveniently located to many attractions and is only a 200 metre stroll through the dunes to a private ocean beach and a short 5 minute drive to the Peninsula front beaches. Some of the best golf courses the peninsula has to offer (The Dunes, Moonah Links, St Andrews and Cape Schank), wineries, restaurants and The Peninsula Hot Springs are all only a few minutes drive.

Up stairs sleeps 8-10 people in four bedrooms (two with queen beds) and is ideal for couples or two families. The master bedroom has an ensuite with spa. Downstairs the well appointed kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron etc) is adjacent to a large living area. This opens onto an expansive deck area, perfect for the evening BBQ after a hard day at the beach. The lounge with open fireplace and separate dining area is perfect for an intimate evening meal during winter.

Enjoy the sounds of the surf in the evening from the deck, stroll the coastal walking tracks and ocean beach before breakfast, explore the rock pools and sand dunes or simply enjoy the surf. This house has it all for those looking for a perfect coastal retreat all year round.

Neighborhood

Located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria nestled between the ocean and Port Phillip Bay. The Peninsula is a popular holiday resort for people all over Australia. It offers a range of scenery, golf courses, wineries and restaurants. It is only a one hour drive to Melbourne city and all its attractions. About Us

We are two teachers who are very keen to give our children the opportunity to experience other cultures and lifestyles. To this end we are keen to travel and at the same time invite 'the world' to our door step.

Destination

While we are keen to visit the UK and Europe during August to October 2008 we are open to all locations after these dates (including Australia).
