Description

By HK standards and given the convenient location, this is a well sized apartment unit with access to some good amenities such as a swimming pool and "mom and pop" corner stores. The best part about the flat to me is it stays so bright during the day time while remaining airy.

I have a maid who comes in regularly to clean up the place, and you'll find the flat (75 square meters or 800 square feet, one single structure) in excellent condition, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay in Hong Kong (that is, if there is such a thing as "relaxing" in a stress-filled big city).

You can also take advantage of the swimming pool which is accessible upon production of a resident's card (which I'll of course leave you with before I take off). Some people like badminton (I don't), so there's a badminton court on the swimming pool floor. For exchangers who have young children, there is a children's playground within the complex.

I can set you up with tickets to most of the major concerts, because my group is a huge client of one of the major venue organizers. Recommendations to the best restaurants and most exclusive clubs readily available, and I'll even book them for you in advance!

Neighborhood

My flat is located in the exclusive Western Mid-Levels area of Hong Kong, 10 minutes away from the Soho dining district and the Lan Kwai Fong drinking area. For those who like shopping, there are taxis and express minibuses which will take you to Causeway Bay or Central in 15 minutes. For those of you who like hiking, it's close to the University of Hong Kong, which has a fun trail that leads directly to the Peak. Lastly, for those who like a taste of old style Hong Kong, just walk straight down the hill, and you will be in the Sai Ying Pun district where you can try all sorts of Chinese goodies!

About Us

I'm a single corporate attorney (educated in Canada, England, HK, Japan and PRC) who lives to travel, and crazy about the NFL, baseball, basketball, tennis and diving! I've been to 18 countries in Europe, most notably the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Luxembourg! In the US, I have family in New York and California, and of course, I've been to both Honolulu and Maui in Hawaii. As for the Orient, Japan is my country of choice, as I've been close to every part thereof, including Tokyo, Osaka, Okinawa, Kyoto, Nara, Fukuoka and Nagasaki. I've got friends in Indonesia, Singapore, China and Australia, just to name a few. For those of you who are not accustomed to English as your first language, I also speak and write Japanese, French and Putonghua fluently, so don't worry about sending me emails in those languages!

Destination

I've got a lot of accumulated leave to burn, so basically any time of the year is fine with me (assuming that I haven't just come back from vacation, that is). I'll do short or long stays, but usually between 4 to 7 days with Asian home exchangers and 1 to 2 weeks with overseas home exchangers.

I am not going to lie. Given a choice of a sun drenched island or a bustling city, I'd choose.......BOTH (just kidding)! All jokes aside, since life is rarely ever that perfect, I want to use this network to go to some exotic island destinations. I'm also up for places in the US, including Vegas, the South and New Orleans and most countries in Europe, but particularly South Spain (ie Madrid) and Portugal where I have friends I haven't seen in a long time!
