Lovely apartment overlooking river and parks of Queensland's most liveable city. All conveniences, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and dishwasher, breezy balconies, barbeque facilities. Relax on one of the 3 balconies and watch the city cats ( river ferries) on their trip up and down stream. We believe in good quality linen, china and glassware and keep the apartment fresh and clean.

Neighborhood

Catch the city cat (river ferry)into the city ( takes 5 minutes) or drive to the Gold Coast for beaches and theme parks or mountain retreats to get up close and personal with the beautiful birdlife and cuddly koalas. The magnificent Sunshine Coast (our favourite) is two hours drive away, relax in Noosa ( one of the best beaches in the world) or walk the national park to the nudist beach if that takes your fancy. Nearer to home, we have a whole host of delicious restaurants ( French, Thai, modern Australian) good coffee and the gourmet farmers markets at New Farm park only 10 mins walk away. Brisbane has good theatre, art galleries and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle.

About Us

We are a young at heart couple in our early 50's who love travel, adventure and living the good life. We believe in home exchange, as it gives us the chance to immerse in new cultures and live like a local. We are keen to spend most of 2008 in Europe (Irelan, France, Italy, Slovenia) and the end of 2007/beginning of 2008 exploring the Pacific Islands. We enjoy walks, good food, good books, good wine and playing the odd game of tennis or horse riding.
