Stay in our trendy urban flat in the center of Paris, next to the famous district of the Marais, the Bastille and the Republique Square. Located on the 5th floor of a modern building, this DUPLEX flat in on 2 levels.

This flat is not huge (about 60m2) but incredibely trendy, and the location is the absolute plus. The Bastille can be reached in 10 minutes by foot and even less using the new "Vélib" system (municipally run bike-system accross the city)!

We are looking to exchange at the end of OCTOBER 2007 and beginning of NOVEMBER 2007 (Oct 28 to Nov 5 or more if possible) with a flat in New York City.

Neighborhood

Very trendy neighborhood with little cafés, shops, supermarkets and cinemas. 10 minutes walk to the Bastille and the marais.

Nearest Metro stations: Voltaire, Bastille, St-Maur, St-Ambroise

Fantastic view on the city from BOTH FLOORS of the apartment.

About Us

We are looking to exchange with a flat in NYC from the middle of October to the Middle of November (or anytime for about 1 or 2 weeks in that span).

I am a university professor teaching Psychology at the undergraduate and graduate level in Paris and Amiens. I will be travelling to NY and Montreal to visit my daugther there. My teenager son will be around in Paris to give the keys and introduce our "swapers" to the apartment, and to help out should there be any concern during their stay.

I need a place in NYC for the week of the 28th of October to the 5th of November. If you want to come anytime between the 21st of October to the 9th of November in Paris, we can swap. And I don't mind sharing my place longer than I am staying in yours.
