Description

The house has 2 bedrooms (each furnished with a double bed), large kitchen, separate dining room and living room, hardwood floors throughout. The garage can accomodate one car. There is a small backyard with a nice patio/sitting area surrounded by trees.

Neighborhood

Stay in one of San Franicisco's sunniest neighborhoods. Even when it is foggy elsewhere in the city, chances are it is sunny in the Mission. My house in conveniently located near many public transportation lines. Walk (2 blocks) to shops, cafes, and restaurants.

About Us

I am a thirty something elementary school teacher in San Francisco. I travel for almost all my school vacations. I have been spending much of my recent vacation time in Mexico, but am looking to explore new areas.The house exchange would either be for just me or I may possibly be traveling with one other professional female.

Destination

I am looking for both simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchanges. I will be traveling during the upcoming christmas vacation and my house will be vacant from Dec. 22 until Jan. 4. I am looking for someone who wants to be in San Francisco at that time. In return I will be looking for an exchange at a later date. I can travel April 12 - April 20 which are my school holidays. I also have vacation Feb. 16 to Feb. 23 but probably prefer to travel in April. For now my home is not available during the summer holidays as I usually rent it out for the entire 2 month period (mid June to mid August).

My ideal right now would be to find something in Italy for the my April vacation. Rome, Florence, or very open to others but would like something located near the center of the city/town. I am also open to Paris (city limits only)

I am also looking for weekend swaps with homes within an hour or 2 of San Franciso. I am particularly interested in something by the ocean or a home in the wine country. My home is available during the Thanksgiving holiday and available for a non-simultaneous swap or simultaneous if you happen to have a home in Boston where I will be for Thanksgiving.
