Our spectacular Texas Hill Country style home was just completed the summer of 2007 and was built for entertainment. The living room boasts 20 feet barnwood ceilings and a 8' two sided stone fireplace. There is a 18' wall of windows that opens to give you an incredible view of the lake. The house has a very large and open kitchen/dining room (along with butler's kitchen). There is also a 60' wide deck that is perfect for dining and entertaining. The home is 4,300 square feet plus the patio.

The master bedroom has a stone wall behind the bed and a cozy fireplace. It has french doors that open to the lake. There are two guest rooms with queen size beds and gorgeous bathrooms. The gameroom and bunkroom is perfect for the kids. A large flat screen tv and tons of games is sure to keep them entertained. The bunk room can sleep as many as 9 kids and has it's own bath with a 3 person farmhouse sink.

The boathouse is 50 yards from the backdoor and has a firepit that is perfect for roasting marshmallows or just hanging out. The home is the perfect getaway in any season. The home's buildout is very high end with antique barnwood ceilings and beams, as well as, travertine and antique heart pine flooring throughout.

Use of a 10 passenger ski boat will be included.

Neighborhood

This house is located on Lake Cypress Springs, which was named the "Most Beautiful Lake in Texas", by D Magazine. The house is located in Scroggins, TX (Approx 2 miles from Mt. Vernon, TX). The lake is surrounded by Piney woods and is perfect for boating and fishing. You can fish off the boat dock at the house and catch lots of Catfish, Perch, and Bass.

The neighborhood is very quiet and secluded. There is a tennis court in the neighborhood for the residents. Most of the homes on the lake are 2nd homes and not occupied all the time.

About Us

We are a family of 6 and have kids that range in age from (3-12). We are interested in beaches or mountains, but would be open to other locations. My husband works in the Financial sector and I am a stay at home mom.

Destination

This is our second home and can be a non-simultaneous exchange. Our dates for travel are restricted to spring break/summer.
