I am a single law school student in Tulsa, OK. I have a great 1 bedroom second-floor walk-up apartment in the southern part of the city. It has one queen-sized bed and a full size futon. There is a safe and secure laundromat on site (put your things in and then leave...if you want). I have wireless highspeed internet, digital cable and a 27" flat screen TV, stereo and DVD player. I also have central heat & air. The apartment has a small balcony over looking the courtyard area. Wall-to-wall carpeting, and I have a decent little library that includes a few of the classics, some history, law and fiction books. It should please anyone. I also have a desk, laptop (if I don't take it with me) and printer/scanner/fax machine. I have a nice-sized walk in closet, which I would organize to give you plenty of room for your things. Bathroom is kinda small, but standard for an apartment here, it has a shower/bathtub unit. The complex is really nice.

Neighborhood

This neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. My apartment faces the courtyard, which is landscaped with trees, flowers, shrubs, sidewalks and lamposts. It is a very relaxing view. My neighbors are quiet and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. The community is gated and is right next to several restaurants, starbucks, a grocery store (with a bank inside), a dry-cleaners, gas-station, and the highway. Tulsa is a great city, there are about 800,000 people in the metro-area which, of course, includes a few small border cities. It is very easy to navigate as there are several highways that cover all areas of the city. Tulsa has a decent sized "international" airport. The city also has great entertainment and culture. Tulsa host's a world class opera, symphony orchestra and ballet that all have affordable ticket prices. Tulsa also has several minor league professional sports teams, inlcuding hockey, basketball, baseball and arena football. We have an active night-scene as well. The city has several great golf-courses (we hosted the 2007 PGA Championship here). There are several universities in Tulsa and we have the largest display of art-deco architecture in the United States (and the world, I think). Tulsa is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. There are several lakes within a short drive. It's a 4 hour drive to Dallas, TX; 5-6 hours to St. Louis, MO or Kansas City, MO and about 2 1/2 hours to Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Arkansas River runs through the city. About Us

Well, as I said before, I'm a law student at the University of Tulsa. I was born and rasied about 2.5 hours east of Tulsa, so I'm fairly familiar with what the area has to offer. I just started law school, this year, and I hope to study international law. I speak Spanish, as well, and would love to learn French and Italian. I love to read (as I said I have a nice little library) and have a good time. I was a history and spanish major during my undergraduate years, so I love all things related to history and I am a big fan of cultures and languages around the world. I plan on doing a lot of travelling before I die, which will hopefully be many years away, I'm currently 22 years old. I have a 2 year old baby brother and I'm fairly family oriented, I try to talk to my parents at least twice a week and visit them twice a month. I like to golf and I love soccer (football) although I don't play, I just watch. Most of all I'm a laid back and easy going guy, who likes to make friends.
