Nice rural home Montana, 5 acres, partially wooded, birds and deer, hot tub, sat TV, highspeed internet, one story, no AC needed even on hat summer days. Complete kitchen w/ diswasher etc., washer and dryer, beautuful interior. Photos available.

Neighborhood

1/2 hour to Bozeman and Musuem of the Rockies, 2 hrs Yellowstone, 3 to Tetons, 4 to Glacier. Neighbor across the road built house in 1996 and willing to help with any questions. Automatic sprinkler system for lawn. On guiet dead end good gravel road 2 miles from pavement and 5 miles from Belgrade, town with good grocery stores and great coffee shop. Museum of the Rockies is one of the few institutions accepted as part of Smithsonian network. Dingy and canoe available for river floating.

2002 Subaru WRX Wagon available. Want to swap cars.

About Us

Retired photographer/journalist, former teacher. Air Force Korea War. English,History, and PolySCi degrees. Wife retired librarian (MA) and office manager. I volunteer as driving safety instructor and Habitat for Humanity worker. Wife volunteers at library. Have traveled on Continent and all over Canada, England, Wales, Scotland, never to Ireland. For shame, because I am Irish. We run the Alcan5000 Rally (see website) every two years.

Can communicate with limited success in Spanish, French, and German.

Destination

Delta, Northwest, Alaskan airlines fly into Bozeman. Airport only 10 minutes from our home. Summer exhange with Ireland, etc. offers you great base for exploring National Parks, mountains of Montana and Wyoming, river floating, fishing, hiking, etc. Winter exchange with New Zealand, etc.offers good skiing at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky, snow coach trips into Yellowstone, cross country skiing.
You can drive our Subaru WRX Wagon (seats 4) that is fun and reasonably inexpensive to drive. I can drive anything—sport, GT, pickup, truck.
