Four bedroom, 4 public rooms, modern detached 2 storey villa with all modern facilities including complete air conditioning cool/heat.

There is an outdoor solar heated pool with spa which can reach a comfortable 28 - 33 degree celsius between September and May.

The garden is very low maintenance.

Neighborhood

House is in a quiet modern Brisbane suburb close to golf course - public welcome - and is 20 minutes from Brisbane city. Excellent bus service 5 minute walk to bus stop. The airport is only 20 minutes away. The house has an open outlook with a park across the road.

Easy access to motorways. South to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast which is less than 1 hour away by car and further on to Northern New South Wales to destination gems like Byron Bay which is only 3 hours away. The motorway heading north of Brisbane leads to the Sunshine Coast and exotic destinations such as Noosa and National Parks with ancient sites of interest. Indeed Brisbane is surrounded by National Parks.

Diving opportunities are many some as close as the islands in Moreton Bay on the mouth of the Brisbane River - only around 1 hour by passenger catamaran. There are also daily car ferries to these idyllic Pacific islands which are favourite special places frequented by the locals as well as overseas visitors.

All kinds of boats can be hired and there are many safe and beautiful waterways in surrounding area. All types of fishing is available.

The Great Barrier reef is only about an hours flight from Brisbane and cheap flights are sometimes available.

Brisbane is an excellent holiday base with a sub tropical climate and a casual laid back ambience. Temperatures in May and June are a gorgeous 22 - 25 degrees celsius with sunny dry days, overnight sometimes it can drop to 18 degrees!! It is very predictable.

DISTANCES (approx)
Sydney 1 hour flight; Melbourne 2hour flight; Adelaide 2 hour flight, Tasmania 3 hour flight; Perth 5 hour flight; New Zealnd 3 hour flight from Brisbane. We have some competitively priced airlines like Virgin and Jetstar.

Come and see our gorgeous diverse country after all the flight takes only 1 day and that's not much in the scheme of things! Alternatively a stop over in Singapore is very enjoyable and helps enormously with the jet lag

About Us

Les has an accountancy practice in the local area. Claire is a registered nurse now working a couple of days a week in a CCU.

We have 2 Children and 4 young grandchildren all of whom live in the same general area.

We go to the local Fitness First gym several times a week. We don't seem to have time to play much golf nowadays but we have all the golfing gear and a couple of bikes in the garage which can be used.

Our last few holidays have been sightseeing in Auckland New Zealand, Hamiltom Island - Great Barrier Reef - skiing in Whistler Canada with the whole family January 2007 - magnificent.
